The Tax Code is Changing.

In 2017, Congress passed the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act (TCJA). It was the largest overhaul to the US tax code since 1986. Many provisions within TCJA are set to expire at the end of 2025, unless Congress takes action.

Here are the three big changes coming for American’s taxes.

  • 2024 tax rates: 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, 37%

    2026 tax rates: 10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33%, 35%, 39.6%

  • 2024 Standard deduction:

    MFJ= $29,200. Single = $14,600

    MFJ = $16,600. Single = $8,300
